I am pleased to welcome Adonis Devereux to the Storytellers Series. Before we jump into the interview, a little about Adonis Devereux: Adonis Devereux is two people made one. He grew up in Michigan and in rural Indiana, a Midwestern boy with a passion for story. She was rootless, a Virginia native who lived in London, Paris, and Rome before her parents settled just outside Tokyo. Like him, stories burned in her. Together, they are Adonis Devereux. What has been the toughest criticism given to you as an author? Before we got our first contract, we put the first chapter of our work-in-progress up for critique on a writer’s forum. Yes, I am late with my blog posts, so I have to double up. If I double up and force myself to produce three to four a day to catch up, perhaps I’ll think twice next time about skipping a day. Frivolous Fridays – Peyton Manning

I’ll let you in on a secret. I am a huge football fan. When the season is over, my television rarely goes on except for silly reality shows like Finding Bigfoot and Ghost Adventures, and the occasional breaking news in the football world. This week was memorable, to say the least. I knew it was in the works, knew it was coming, judging by Jim I*say’s rants on T*itter and in the news, the recent exposure of an extra neck surgery and the like….but I was still hoping.
