Featured Author – Rosanna Leo

Hello, all you lovely readers!  So glad you joined us today.  Our special guest in the Luscious hot seat is Rosanna Leo and she’s bringing us some oceanic sexiness with her newest release, The Selkie.  Let’s get to know Rosanna a little better. Out of your published stories, which character is your favorite? I think my fave will always be Maia, my dorky heroine from For the Love of a God. Out of all my heroines, she’s most like me. A little too scholarly, a little too awkward but her heart is in the right place. She’s devoted to her friends and family and her passions. When I think of her, I still get a little smile on my face. How do you come up with the titles of your books? Great question! It is really is a case of inspiration striking as it will. I find titles are often… Continued

OCTOBER….OCTOBER…OCTOBER!! Hang with me for ….. Blogtoberfest!   Terrible, isn’t it? But fun, right? The month of October is special to me. It’s not because of Halloween, although that’s part of it. October marks the month in which I had my first e-book published with Evernight Publishing. In honor of this occasion as well as a personal challenge, I will be posting something Halloween related every single day of the month. In addition, I will be posting snippets of “Kitty Wishes”, that aforementioned published book. I certainly hope that you will join me for Blogtoberfest – keep me honest with these posts! Dahlia

But I know it’s a shock.  You’ve just gotten over the back to school rush and bang, Halloween is in your face. Have no fear.  I’m going to ease you ever so slowly into the season of masquerades, harvest festivals, hay rides and apple picking. Halloween is a holiday that has grown in proportion year after year.  But did you know, and you would, if you watched the History Channel like I do. J Five Fun Facts about Halloween that I learned from the History Channel. One quarter of all the candy sold annually in the U.S. is purchased for Halloween. The heaviest pumpkin weighed 1,810 lb 8 oz and

Move like Jagger? How about Write like Peyton?

Those who follow my blog regularly will know that I’m a big football person.  I play fantasy football (and get cursed out by guys who don’t know that I’m a gal, or know and don’t care) and I watch the games on television and online.  I’ve been known to watch three games at once, following the scores and the sacks and the bad calls by the replacement refs. Last year, football was boring.  Why?  No Peyton Manning calling plays at the line. Say what you will about Peyton,  from his commercial hustle to his pouts and tantrums during the game, (search on YouTube for Peyton Manning/Jeff Saturday and you’ll see him cursing out the former Colts’ center to the point where one of the O-line dudes told him to ‘go sit down’) but he knows what he wants from the game and goes after it.  Mind you, football is not
